Chelsea defender Gary Cahill is ready to replace the suspended John Terry for his club's "massive" set of fixtures lying ahead.
The Blues have some gruelling games coming up, including two matches against Manchester United in the Premier League and Capital One Cup, as well as trips to Tottenham and Shakhtar Donetsk.
Roberto Di Matteo will be without his captain, who is suspended for four games after deciding not to appeal his Football Association charge for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand, but Cahill is determined to take his chance in the absence of Terry.
"I feel okay. It was good to get back out training again because I have done a lot of travelling [with England] and haven't done much for the past couple of days," Cahill said. "It was important that I go back out and get moving - I enjoy being back out on the pitch.
"We have some massive games coming up and it's going to be important. It starts tomorrow with the early kick-off and it's going to be a huge game. Both teams are in form at the moment, so it's going to be tough."
Meanwhile, Cahill has played down the furore surrounding Chelsea's trip to Tottenham on Saturday to face their former boss Andre Villas-Boas.
"It's going to be very weird seeing Andre again but we have to get over that," he said. "It's about having the frame of mind that we have a job to do.
"It's going to be a tough test but hopefully we can keep our form and run going."
